The Air Accident Investigation Bureau(AAIB) of the Ministry of Road and Transport is the authorized organization for investigating aircraft accident, serious incident within territory of Mongolia.
The Objective of the AAIB
The principal Objective of the AAIB is to improve aviation safety by determining the circumstances and causes of air accidents and serious incidents and making safety recommendations intended to prevent the recurrence of similar accidents. It is not the purpose of this activity to apportion blame or liability.
